I thought you would be interested in this information

Message from your friend Portia Scholl thought you would be interested in this discussion from GOP.com. Barack Obama on a Single Payer Health Care System

Here?s a clip of Barack Obama talking about health care earlier today in Albuquerque, NM:

Did you catch that?  Obama, who has previously described himself as a ?proponent? of a single-payer health care system, says that if he were starting from scratch, he would set up a single-payer system.  And that irrespective of that, ?over time,? ?as we make the system more efficient and everybody?s covered? (presumably here Obama means via his health care plan, which is plenty problematic), we may ?decide that there are other ways for us to provide care more effectively.?

Somehow, when Obama says ?other ways,? I suspect he?s not talking about suddenly tacking back, following the implementation of his government-intensive health care proposals, towards a more free-market or less-government-heavy system.  That would, quite frankly, make no sense.  And given that the question he?s responding to deals with single payer health care, I think I can guess what ?other ways? he thinks we might be able to provide care more ?effectively.?  The trouble is that I do not view a single payer health care system as something that is desirable, even if Barack Obama does?and neither do a great many Americans.

Check this item on GOP.com Comments Can we even be sure of the facts let alone the standard by which we decide even if there is an opportunity upon which forms the basis of an objective by which we can achieve the end result or conclusions. i.e. Do we even know what Obama is talking about half the time?
