Dear Fellow Conservatives,
If you think the Republican Party is doing just fine, then this letter is definitely NOT for you. And I recommend you put this aside because I'm about to tell it like it is.
Republicans need to start standing up for our Party's principles and beliefs and quit allowing the Democrats to define who we are.
I have had enough of the Democrats lying and distorting our solutions to the problems our nation faces. Republicans should be the ones telling voters our positive views and helpful ideas.
At the same time, Republicans have to challenge the Democrats every time they present themselves as something they are not. Every day I see Democrats willing to say anything, no matter how hypocritical, how untrue or misleading to win an election. No doubt you see the same thing.
In fact, just last week, I was a guest host on the Hannity & Colmes show where I interviewed Michael Dukakis - the left's most liberal enthusiast since Jimmy Carter. Dukakis was pushing the standard liberal doctrine of more government control and higher taxes. But what sent me though the roof was when Dukakis had the audacity to say the Democrats are stronger on foreign policy than Republicans.
Let's face it, as conservatives, we have our work cut out for us this election year. Our opponents on the far-left are well-funded and have shown they are willing to say anything to win an election.
The liberal, left-wing Democrats are in full attack mode and are showing no signs of letting-up. They have proven they are ready to go after any candidate that is willing to fight for a smaller government, lower taxes and the rights of all Americans, born and unborn.
This is why I believe that the work I am doing for GOPAC is so important - we are helping Republicans learn how to stand up for our Party's principles and beliefs and challenge the distorted and deceptive statements by Democrats. That is my mission at GOPAC, to train the next generation of Republican leaders for the fight ahead.
Republican candidates across the country are underfunded when matched up to their liberal opponents. On Election Day, this could mean Democrats expand their majorities in every state in the country. As conservatives, we can't let this happen! Help me support, train and elect Republicans in states all across the country that are dedicated to voting to lower taxes, secure America's borders and empower individuals over Big Government.
Now, here is where you play a vital role. Please visit the GOPAC website and make your most generous contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1,000. The gift you donate today will help make the difference in winning votes in battleground states that will determine which Party is victorious on November 4.
Thank You for Your Time,
 Michael Steele, GOPAC Chairman
P.S. Please click here to show your support, whatever you can afford -whether you can contribute $25 or $250. Together, we can change the Republican Party!
