5. Ladies on the Trail by Michelle Oddis Unless John McCain picks a woman as his running mate, the next president and vice president will both be men. And whichever of them reach those offices will owe a lot to the women who worked to elect them.
4. Where is God at the DNC? by S. E. Cupp Hillary Clinton gave a predictable, admittedly motivational speech at the Democratic National Convention. She talked primarily about herself and her legacy, which has clearly yet to be fully unraveled. She said she supported Barack Obama, and you should too, if you care about a Democrat winning the White House. And in a less than eloquent or catchy turn of phrase, she said the Republican nominee would be four more years of the same. "No way, no how, no McCain."
3. MSNBC: The National Barack Cable Network by Harvey Kushner The opening of the Democratic National Convention in Denver Monday evening once again emphasized that MSNBC's biased duo Matthews and Olbermann, as well as others at the news cable network, have lost their impartiality -- if not their minds -- when it comes to Barack Obama. 2. Time to Shoot His Goose? by A.W.R. Hawkins Democrats regard southerners as hayseed, gun-toting, backwater hicks who are especially embarrassing when screaming for their favorite NASCAR driver or pledging allegiance to "one nation under God." Let's face it, southerners are simply not genteel or refined enough for NARAL, Democrat-sponsored D.C. cocktail parties, or the European Union. Nor are we accustomed to surrendering on the battlefield as quickly and as frequently as the French-loving Democrats.
1. Themes for the Barackathon by Jed Babbin Before this week ends, the Democrats will have convinced themselves that John McCain is a combination of George W. Bush and Barry Goldwater. One of the major themes of the Denver Barackathon was tipped yesterday by the Dems' think tank, the New York Times. Join us every day next week for articles by Ann Coulter, Karl Rove, Dick Morris, Mark Levin, Michael Reagan, David Limbaugh and many more as well as a special one-on-one interview with Rush only here on HUMAN EVENTS. |
