Our Best Traditions?

Below please find a special message from one of our advertisers, the Republican National Committee. From time to time, we receive opportunities we believe you as a valued customer may want to know about. Please note that the following message does not necessarily reflect the editorial positions of Human Events.

"I have become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions."
-Barack Obama, July 29, 2008

Dear Fellow Conservative,

Do you think the redistribution of wealth by the federal government is one of America's best traditions?  How about free child care? Free college tuition? Wage insurance? Nationalizing oil refineries?  A global tax paid to the United Nations?

If none of these sounds like America's best traditions it's because they are not.  But to Barack Obama and the Democrats, this is exactly the type of nanny-government programs you can expect if they seize complete control of our government.

The liberal mainstream media is neglecting to report the facts about Obama's leftist agenda for America.  They have made it clear who they want to win -- media campaign donations favor Barack Obama 20-to-1 over John McCain.  Republicans must counter the media elite by going over, under and around them to get this story out.  And we need your support to do it.

Please help us get the truth about Barack Obama's big-government designs for America past the liberal media and straight to voters by making a secure online contribution of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 to the Republican National Committee today.

With our economy struggling because of high gas prices, a housing and banking crisis, and low job creation, Obama's left-wing prescriptions would be devastating for hardworking Americans.

John McCain and Republican candidates' reform agenda of keeping taxes and spending low, solving the housing crisis, increasing our energy independence, making health care more affordable and accessible, and winning the war against radical Islamic extremism is right for America during these challenging times.

Your secure online contribution of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 is vital to helping the RNC spread this message and providing the resources Republicans need to defeat Barack Obama and Democrats across the country.

We must get the truth about Barack Obama's radical, left-wing agenda out to voters. Please give as generously as you can.

Sincerely,

Robert M. "Mike" Duncan
Chairman, Republican National Committee

P.S. The RNC needs your immediate support to expose the leftist policies Barack Obama plans to implement with the aid of a Democrat controlled Congress.  Please make a secure online contribution of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 to help get the facts out and elect John McCain and Republicans at all levels.  Thank you.
